Situation
Situated in the sheltered bay of Palmar on the east coast of Mauritius,
Ambre Hotel is set on a long stretch of white sand beach bordered
by a turquoise lagoon. Located at 45mins from the airport and
40mins drive to Port Louis the Capital of the island
 Description
246 air-conditioned rooms with private access
to the beach, including 14 family rooms and
6 luxurious suites of 85M². Spacious sea-facing
rooms with French window having double or king-size
beds, lounge, television with 2 video channels,
mini bar, hair dryer, personal safe, complete
bathroom with separate W.C. 6 inter-leading
rooms are available. The 14 family is made up
with two bedrooms with 1 kingsize bed and 2
single beds and possibility of adding an extra
bed.
Restaurants
Les Filaos: Open for dinner. Les Filaos in a charming environment
offers refined à la carte meals. Prior booking is necessary
and entrance is free. (19h30 - 22hrs)
Les Alizes: A beach-sided restaurant opens for lunch and offers
a à la carte service where seafood, grill meat, salads,
pastas and pizzas are served.
During summer evenings, you can taste our seafood and BBQ in a
warm atmosphere.
Etoile des Indes: Open for breakfast (American Style) from 7h30
to 10h30 and for dinner theme buffet (oriental, creole, chinese)
from 19h30 to 22hrs.
Le Mare Monti: Italian restaurant open for dinner from 19h30 to
22h00.
Bars
Le Sirné : Main bar with dance floor bordered by the swimming
pool. Snacks and sandwiches are also available for lunch. Entertainment
every night, folk and dancing evenings, live band at aperitif
time and after the show. The Upstairs Lounge, overlooking the
lagoon is a quiet spot for indoor games and billiard tables.
The Beach Bar: Situated on the white sand beach under filaos trees,
snacks, sandwiches and drinks are available. (9hrs to 18hrs).
Hibiscus: Animated bar with slots machine for relaxing evenings
in a refined atmosphere. Cigars and à la carte cocktails
are suggested. (18h00 to midnight)
Le Nautilus: The Night Club is open every night as from midnight.
Free access for residents.
The Lounge
Air-conditioned lounge equipped with video projector, sound system,
maxi screen T.V. and video ideal for meetings and seminars for
a maximum of 50 persons.
Services
Welcome lounge, information desks, car rental, taxis, luggage
service with porter, bookings, secretariat /fax services, dry
cleaning, reception arrival and departure lounges, 4 boutiques
(clothes, newspaper, gift shop). Room service from 7h30 to 23h.

SPA Health Centre and Marine Care
The THALASSORUN spa centre have a calm and peaceful environment
of over 600M2 of sophisticated installations of baths, showers,
body treatment, seaweed wraps, beauty centre, cardio-fitness,
sauna, steam bath, hamman, hydromassage, massage, shiatsu. Aquatic
treatment is based on fresh water diffused at 38°C. Our trained
staff is at your disposal to advise you on the various treatments
available and the one best adapted for you.
Mini Club
Children from 3 to 12 years old are taken in charge from 9.30a.m.
to 21p.m.- playground, swings under the filaos trees, boat outings,
beach games, drawing room, video films and games. Baby-sitting
service (with a fee).
Teens Club
For teens between 12 to 18 years with special entertainment.
