Situation
Le Preskîl Beach Resort is ideally situated on a natural private peninsula along the South East Coast of Mauritius Island at La Pointe Jérôme, nearby the historical village of Mahébourg and only 15 kilometres from the International Airport.
With its typically Creole architecture, Le Preskîl is truly a haven of peace spread over 3.5 hectares of luxuriant tropical garden and three idyllic beaches of white sand.
The resort borders a lagoon which offers an exceptional stretch of unique clear blue water which leads to the astonishing marine park of Blue bay and offers a magnificent view over l’île aux Aigrettes where nests a unique bird sanctuary.

Accommodation
Le Preskîl offers 200 rooms, spread out harmoniously into one-storey colourful units across the peninsula, in 3 categories with 132 standard rooms (30m²), 54 Superior rooms (42m²) and 14 Deluxe rooms (62m²).
The rooms, presenting different styles, provide a comfortable and warm setting for an unforgettable stay at the hotel; be it the “Zananas” rooms, seductive by their exotic originality; the “Duo” rooms especially conceived for honeymooners leading directly to the beach; an finally the “Cottages” and “Penthouse” rooms designed with a colonial touch and offering a sublime view over the lagoon, the Lion mountain and l’île aux Aigrettes.
All the rooms lead onto a balcony or a terrace and are equipped with air-conditioning, colour television (international satellite channels) telephone with direct international access, internet connection, mini bar, electronic safe, hair dryer, tea and coffee facilities.

Restaurants and bars
The hotel’s 2 restaurants and bar overlooking the sea invite you to taste the flavours and spices of the local cuisine.
The Main restaurant will offer you full buffet breakfasts in the mornings and delicious samples of Mauritian recipes for dinner (buffet or table d’hôtes) in one of its thematic halls, “L’Epicerie”, ”Le flamboyant” or “La Citronnelle”.
The beach grill will welcome you to a light lunch at noon, in the typical setting of a fisherman’s village. Savour the Mauritian specialities on our magnificent sandy beach.
If you picture yourself sipping an exotic cocktail in a tropical ambience in the evenings, after a soothing day in the sun…then come to “L’Indigo” Bar where you may also indulge in a selection of sandwiches, salads and light meals for lunch.

Sports and leisure
The hotel offers a great selection of free activities such as water-skiing, windsurfing, glass bottom boat, canoeing, 2 pools and an open air Jacuzzi.
Excursions are also available with supplement such as deep sea fishing, catamaran and speedboat cruises to “L’île aux Cerfs”, cruises in local sailing boat, a typical fishing morning with a fisherman.
The hotel’s diving centre has a PADI and CMAS accreditation where fully trained diving instructors offer a wide range of diving options for you to explore the natural beauty of the aquamarine life.

The hotel offers a great selection of free land sports such as : 2 pools and an open air Jacuzzi, 2 floodlit tennis courts, beach volley, bocci ball, table tennis, indoor electronic games.
The surroundings are worth a visit. You may rent bicycles or cars to go and explore the nearby town of Mahebourg, a typical Mauritian town that hosts an exceptional crafts market every Monday.

The Kid’s club will welcome children from 4 to12 years of age. The children’s hostess supervises all activities in a fun and recreational atmosphere. A special menu is available for the children and dinner is served between 06.00pm and 07.00pm at the restaurant.
