Location
 The Tarisa
Resort is situated at Mont Choisy, on the north west coast,
at about 45 minutes from the airport, 20 minutes to the Capital,
Port Louis and 5 minutes drive to Grand Bay. Mont Choisy, known
as one of the best sandy beach of the island is at the doorstep
of the hotel.
Accommodation
The hotel consists of 75 air-conditioned rooms with both Twin
and Double rooms as follows:
Ground Floor – 16 Rooms + 01 Suite
1st Floor – 26 Rooms + 01 Suite
2nd Floor – 30 Rooms + 01 Suite
All rooms can be supplied with the facility of a third bed
and have private W.C and shower. They are all equipped of
IDD telephone, TV, in-house music, DVD, mini bar, tea/coffee
making facilities, electric shaver point (220V) and hair dryer.
All rooms have their private terrace or balcony with 63 rooms
overlooking the main swimming pool and the beach of the hotel.
Restaurant
Our main restaurant, overlooking the pool and the ocean, serves
a maximum of 160 covers at one seating. The half board package
includes full breakfast in buffet style and table d’hôte
menu or exotic buffets/barbecue for dinner.
A “À la Carte” lunch, snacks and daytime
grills are served around the swimming pool deck under tropical
umbrellas or in the open restaurant. Pancakes and ice cream
are also available.
The “Tandoor” restaurant, specialised in the authentic
Indian cooking has a capacity of 100 covers and is situated
on the first floor with a magnificent view of the ocean.
Entertainment
Daily entertainment and live music or cabaret shows in the
evening. Sega show weekly.
Sports & Leisure (Free of charge)
 Swimming
pool of 250m2 inclusive of a Jacuzzi for adults and children’s
pool of 25m2. Our boathouse offers windsurfing, pedal boats,
kayaks, laser boat, hobby cats and snorkelling trip in the
lagoon. Volley ball on the beach, table tennis, French bowling,
darts, carom, American billiard, fitness centre, sauna, steam
bath and other social games.
Chargeable – Scuba diving, big game fishing, horse riding,
hair dressing and massage parlour.
Children – Menu is served daily at 18h00 in the main
restaurant. Baby sitting on request with a supplement.
